CCTV for factories and industrial units
A factory needs the gate with plate capture, the weighbridge, the loading bay, the finished-goods store and the perimeter. Cameras must be specified for dust and heat, and a PTZ on the yard is useful on top of fixed cameras rather than instead of them.
Gate and weighbridge
Material arriving and leaving is where the money is. The gate and the weighbridge are the two positions that pay for a factory system.
Dust and heat
Industrial dust coats lenses in weeks rather than months, and heat shortens equipment life. Sealed housings and a four-visit-a-year cleaning schedule are not optional here.
Fixed first, PTZ second
A PTZ records only where it points. Cover the ground with fixed cameras, then add a PTZ to investigate. The reverse is how people miss things.
What CCTV does a factory need?
How often should factory cameras be serviced?
Four times a year in a dusty environment. Cleaning is the highest-value maintenance task, and in a mill or a cement-area unit it is needed far more often than in a shop.
Can cameras be linked to the weighbridge?
Yes. Weighbridge events stamped onto the footage timeline let you pull the vehicle and the ticket together, which is exactly what a discrepancy check needs.
Need this doing?
Business CCTV covers the till, the stock room, the entrance and the delivery door — the four points where losses actually happen. Systems are sized to your retention needs and can be linked to access control and point of sale. Expect PKR 70,000 upwards depending on premises size.
