Machines chosen for here, not for the spec sheet
A spec sheet does not mention June, dust off the Talagang road, or what the power line does when the light comes back. Machines in this district die of three things, none of them listed on the box — so that is what we sell against, and because our repair bench sees every brand’s failures, we know which boxes to stand behind.
What actually kills hardware here
Heat
Forty-degree summers plus a fanless corner shelf cook consumer-grade machines. The first symptom is slowness everyone blames on the software; the second is a dead board.
Buy against it: Business-class machines with real cooling, positioned out of the sun — and a blow-through service every year, which we do while you wait.
Dust
Fine dust off unmetalled ground packs heatsinks and printer rollers alike. It is why the same laptop lasts years in Islamabad and eighteen months beside a main road here.
Buy against it: Sealed-panel desktops for shop counters, covers that actually get used, and cleaning on a schedule rather than after the first shutdown.
Power
Surges on restoration after load-shedding kill more electronics in this district than age does. The board that dies at 6 p.m. died because of what the line did at 5:58.
Buy against it: A correctly sized UPS on anything that matters, surge protection on everything else. We size UPS units against your actual load, not the sticker.
What we sell and set up
New and certified refurbished laptops. Desktops assembled to your work rather than a fixed menu — a billing counter needs a different machine from a NADRA-photo studio, and both cost less when built for the job. Printers, scanners and copiers with genuine consumables. Servers and NAS units for offices that have outgrown the shared folder on somebody’s PC. UPS units and batteries, sized against measured load. And the parts and accessories drawer that keeps all of it running.
Everything leaves set up: Windows activated, your software installed, printer connected, data moved from the old machine. The box is ready to work when it reaches the desk, not ready to become your weekend project.
Brands we stock and stand behind
Hikvision · Dahua · Uniview · CP Plus · ZKTeco · Honeywell · TP-Link · Mikrotik · Ubiquiti · Cisco · D-Link · Tenda · HP · Dell · Lenovo · Asus · Acer · Epson · Canon · Brother · APC · Seagate · Western Digital · Kingston
Being brand-agnostic is a repair-bench privilege: we see what fails and what does not, per model, and quote accordingly. If a fashionable model has a weak hinge or a board that hates heat, we will tell you before you buy it — not at the repair counter afterwards.
Buying questions
- Is a refurbished laptop a safe buy?
- A certified one, yes — often the better buy. A refurbished business-class machine outlasts a new consumer-grade one at the same price, because it was built for a corporate fleet, not a shelf price. Ours are tested on the bench, the battery health is written on the invoice, and they carry our own warranty.
- What should a student buy?
- Almost always a refurbished business laptop around the price of a cheap new one. It will take four years of being carried to an academy in a bag. Tell us the budget honestly and we will tell you the best machine in it — including when the answer is to spend less than you planned.
- Rawalpindi market quotes cheaper. Why buy here?
- Sometimes it is cheaper, and for a bare box it may stay that way. What the market price does not include: setup with your software before handover, a warranty you can invoke by walking in rather than couriering a box, and the same team on the phone when something misbehaves in month seven.
- Do you supply against purchase orders and tenders?
- Yes. Schools, banks, government departments and offices buy from us on PO with itemised quotations, delivery challans and the documentation procurement requires. Volume pricing applies from about five machines.
