The cable is the network

Routers get replaced every few years. The cable in the wall is there for twenty. That is why we splice, test and label like it will be someone’s problem in 2045 — because it will, and the test report we hand over is what separates an installation from a length of wire. Five jobs make up most of this work.

A fiber connection to the premises

We run the drop from the ISP's distribution point to your building — aerial or ducted — splice it, and terminate it properly in a wall box rather than a loop of bare fiber behind the TV. Every joint is fusion-spliced and the finished run is OTDR-tested, so the loss figures are measured, not assumed.

Structured cabling for an office or school

Cat6 to every desk, all runs home to a labelled patch panel in a tidy rack. Labelled at both ends, tested port by port, with a printed map of what goes where. Five years later, when a port dies, anyone can trace it in a minute — that map is the cheapest part of the job and the one most installers skip.

WiFi that covers the whole building

We measure coverage with a meter, place cabled access points where the building needs them, and put every unit on one network name so phones roam without dropping. A guest network keeps visitors and their viruses off the till and the cameras.

A link between two buildings

Across a yard, a road or a kilometre of field: either buried fiber or a point-to-point wireless link between rooftops. We price both where both are possible and say plainly which one we would pick for your distance, terrain and budget.

The router, firewall and the mess behind it

We replace the tangle with a router and switch that fit the load, change every default password, separate cameras and tills from the public WiFi, and write the passwords down for the owner — not for us. Mikrotik, TP-Link and Ubiquiti, sized to the site rather than the shelf.

The test results

An OTDR trace for fiber, a port test for copper. If the answer is “it works, look”, the loss is unmeasured and the first hot afternoon will find it.

Labels at both ends

Every run named at the socket and at the panel. Unlabelled cabling is a puzzle you pay someone to solve again every time anything changes.

The passwords, in writing

Router, switch and WiFi credentials belong to the owner, on paper, at handover. A network whose passwords live in the installer's head is his network, not yours.

Network questions

Which internet provider is best in Talagang?
Whichever one has good coverage on your street, and that genuinely varies block by block. We are the installer, not the ISP, so we have no package to push — tell us your address and we will tell you who serves it well and handle the liaison with whoever you pick.
How long does an office LAN take?
Structured cabling for a typical office floor takes two to three days, including the rack, patch panel and labelling at both ends. Fiber runs depend on the trench or pole route, so those get a date range at quotation rather than a vague promise.
Can you link two buildings without digging a trench?
Usually, yes. A point-to-point wireless link between rooftops carries a network across a road or a field reliably, provided the antennas can see each other. Where the distance is short and the trench is easy, buried fiber is still the better answer — we will price both and say which we would pick.
Why does my WiFi die in half the building?
Because one router was asked to cover walls it cannot pass through. Brick and concrete eat 5GHz signal. The fix is access points cabled to the right places, not a bigger router — and a survey with a meter finds those places rather than guessing them.
