Solar power · Talagang & Chakwal

We read your bills before we quote your roof.

Almost every disappointing solar system in this district was sized from roof area or from a package price. The number that decides what you need is on your electricity bill, and it takes three of them to see the pattern. Send us photos of yours and we will tell you the size, the cost and the honest payback before anyone climbs anything.

Solar solves three different problems. Which one is yours?

These need different equipment. Buying the wrong one is the most expensive mistake in solar, because correcting it usually means changing the inverter.

Cut the bill

On-grid system

Panels and a grid-tied inverter. Offsets what you use during daylight and exports the surplus for credit. Cheapest per kilowatt and the fastest payback.

Does nothing during load-shedding. Not one watt.

What it costs

Survive load-shedding

Hybrid + battery

A hybrid inverter disconnects from the grid during an outage and runs your chosen circuits from a battery, charging from the panels as it goes.

The battery is the largest line in the quote, not the panels.

Both

Hybrid + net metering

The usual answer for a family home here. Backup through outages, and approved export credit for the surplus you do not use or store.

Net metering approval takes weeks to months, not days.

How approval works

What it costs, without the package price

On-grid, installed, in rupees. Adding a usable battery bank moves these figures substantially — batteries, not panels, are the expensive part of a modern solar quote.

Full price breakdown
  • 3 kWPKR 350k – 480k

    Small home, modest use

  • 5 kWPKR 550k – 750k

    Family home, the common size

  • 10 kWPKR 1,000k – 1,400k

    Large home, shop or clinic

Figures are installed totals from real jobs in this district, not list prices. Your survey produces the actual number.

Four things solar will not do for you

Run your air conditioner all night on battery

It can be done and the bank costs more than most people expect. Running the AC while the grid is on and reserving the battery for lights, fans and the fridge is the economical arrangement.

Pay for itself in eighteen months

That claim assumes best-case summer output every month, no degradation and no inverter replacement. Three to five years is the honest range here.

Work during an outage without batteries

An on-grid inverter shuts down with the grid. Panels in full sun, no power in the house. If nobody has told you this, ask why.

Stay at full output without cleaning

Dust is the leading cause of lost generation in this district. A system nobody cleans quietly loses output for years.

Asked before every solar job

Will solar keep my power on during load-shedding?
Only if it is a hybrid system with batteries. A plain on-grid system shuts down the moment the grid does, even in full sunshine, because the inverter has no grid reference to synchronise against. This surprises people every summer and it is the single most important thing to understand before you buy.
How do you decide what size system I need?
From three months of your electricity bills. The units-consumed figure tells us what to install. Roof area only becomes relevant once the load has decided the number. Any quote produced without seeing a bill is a guess, and it is usually a guess in the seller's favour.
How long before it pays for itself?
Three to five years for most households here, faster with net metering approved and faster still as tariffs rise. Payback claims under two years generally assume best-case summer output every month, no degradation and no inverter replacement.
Do you handle the net metering paperwork?
Yes, including the follow-up and attending the inspection. Applications sit still unless somebody chases them, and that chasing is most of the work.
