How long a CCTV installation takes
A four to eight camera shop or home installation usually finishes within one working day, including cabling, recorder setup and phone configuration. Larger premises take two to three days. Cable routing, not the number of cameras, is what actually determines the time.
Cable decides the schedule
Four cameras with short, easy runs take a morning. Four cameras across a difficult building can take two days. The survey is where we find out which one you have.
What happens on the day
Positions marked, cable run and terminated, cameras mounted and aimed, recorder installed and configured, then setup and handover. Aiming and setup take longer than people expect and matter more than the mounting.
Disruption
Most shops stay open throughout. Drilling is brief and localised. We work around your busy hours where we can if you tell us what they are.
We clean up
Dust sheeted where needed, holes made good, offcuts and packaging taken away. It is part of the job, not an extra.
How long does it take to install CCTV?
Do I need to close my shop for the installation?
Almost never. Drilling is short and confined to specific positions. Tell us your busiest hours and we will schedule the noisy parts around them.
How soon can you start?
In Talagang, often within a day or two of the survey. Further out it depends on the travel and whether we can group your job with others in the same area.
