CCTV for pharmacies and medical stores
A pharmacy needs till coverage, the dispensing counter, the controlled-stock cupboard and the entrance. Longer retention matters more than in general retail, because discrepancies in batch stock often surface weeks later during a stock check rather than on the day.
The dispensing counter
A camera covering the counter where medicines are handed over settles disputes about what was supplied. It is the position that most often earns its cost.
Controlled stock
Any cupboard holding restricted items deserves its own camera on the door. Recording who opened it and when is far more useful than recording the room.
Longer retention
Batch and expiry discrepancies appear at stock check, not on the day. Size the drive for a month or more rather than the fortnight a basic system gives.
