What a CCTV support plan includes
An annual maintenance contract covers scheduled preventive visits, lens cleaning and focus checks, verification that recording is actually happening, drive health checks, remote access testing, priority callout between visits and a discount on replacement parts.
Preventive, not reactive
The point is catching a failing drive or a drifted camera before you need the footage, rather than after. That is the whole value.
What is not included
Replacement hardware is charged, at a discount. A plan is maintenance, not insurance, and we would rather be clear about that than imply otherwise.
Priority matters in season
Through summer and after storms the callout queue lengthens. Plan clients get seen first, which is often the practical difference.
What is covered by a CCTV AMC?
Is an AMC worth it for a small shop?
If footage matters to you, yes. The basic plan is modest against the cost of finding out during an incident that the system stopped recording in March.
Can I cancel a maintenance plan?
Yes, at renewal. We do not tie equipment to the plan, so leaving means changing maintenance provider, not losing your cameras.
