Cloud vs local CCTV storage
Local storage on a recorder is the practical default here: it keeps recording when the internet is down and costs nothing per month. Cloud storage protects footage if the recorder is stolen, but needs upload bandwidth most premises cannot spare and carries an ongoing fee.
